Dr. Shalini Somnath has over 20 years of clinical experience as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She earned her degree in medicine from the Government Medical College, Trivandrum, and her postgraduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences, Trivandrum. She also has a certificate in IVF and Reproductive Medicine (UKSH – Germany).
She was a successful Private Practitioner in Kerala before moving to the UAE after serving as a Medical Officer in the Indian Air Force. Dr. Shalini is skilled at handling both regular and high-risk pregnancy cases. On top of that, she has a special interest in infertility and has worked in reputed IVF centers in Trivandrum. She provides services such as Pap smears for cervical cancer prevention, STI screening and treatment, ob-gyn ultrasound scans, contraception, pregnancy care, and infertility management.
She has worked with leading healthcare organizations in Dubai and Sharjah. In addition, Dr. Shalini believes in providing holistic and all-encompassing care to all of her patients.
